Do you have a family member, friend, or work colleague who’s very critical and questions everything you say or do? Do you know someone who sees the negative side to everything? You know the type… those that carry the whole world on their shoulders and worse still are intent on dragging you and everyone else down with them.

I guess you’ve probably come across these types of people all the time.

The problem is however, most of us seem to tolerate and accept this kind of company or behavior as just one of those things and do very little about it. This is a big mistake!

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes a highly critical person can prove a benefit if there’s a need for some critical analysis regarding a particular situation, however in general these type of negative energy, down-beat kind of people can seriously debilitate you.

Their negative aura will slowly but surely drain you of your positive, creative energy which is so vital to your well-being progress in life.

But what can you do to best deal with these negative energy types of people?

One way is to try and switch off and ignore whatever they have to say. This can workable if you’re part of a large group, but if you’re the only other person in their company then this will prove very difficult.

Another way could be to chat to them about things that you both have a common interest in. This will help dissolve the negative atmosphere and lift the mood.

You could also ask them to talk about some of the good things that are going on in their life. It is extremely difficult to maintain feelings of negativity when one is talking about things that are happy and satisfying. This technique can prove pretty effective most of the time so when you feel their negativity is becoming oppressive then try using this.

If none of the above techniques work, and the person is still constantly negative and depressed then the solution is pretty simple- avoid being in their company as much as you can. This may not be easy particularly if it’s a member of your family or a close friend. However if you want to create a better life for yourself; one that rich, happy and successful then exposure to these ‘energy sucking vampires’ must be kept to an absolute minimum. Do it now or you will inevitably pay the price later.

Negative Energy From Your Mind

Did you know that we all give off a great deal of energy? This energy we emit from our body primarily comes from one place- our mind.

Basically our thoughts are waves of vibrational energy that we are continually sending out to the universe.

So if this is true, which it definitely is, then I’d like to ask you this simple question… if your thoughts are positive what kind of energy are you transmitting from your body? If you say positive energy then you’re spot on. Conversely, if your thoughts are negative then the energy you’ll be transmitting will be obviously negative.

Your thoughts are the key to what you are, what you become and what you create.

When your thoughts are dominated by stress, worry, and doubt then this drastically lowers the quality of your energy.

This law is basically a law of magnetism where “like attracts like“. When this is applied to your energetic thoughts then you can see the serious consequences you’ll face when your thoughts are dominated by negativity.

Your low energy negative thoughts will attract similar circumstances and situations that will continue the negative cycle.

It’s therefore vital that you monitor your consistent thoughts at all time. Ignoring negative thoughts and letting them run amok within your mind will result in a life of never-ending problems and struggles.

You have to develop an ability of self-correction where negative thoughts are quickly replaced by positive thoughts. Doing this will automatically change your energy to a much higher quality.

Removing negative energy from your aura and replacing with one that’s more positive and uplifting will then see you harness the true power of the Law of Attraction to work for you rather than against you.

A simple but powerful way to change your energy can include the use of self-affirmation statements.

Affirmations are statements of a positive nature that you can repeat out loud or in your mind. Repeating affirmations with strong emotions is very effective in helping you change the way you feel. They are also extremely powerful in changing your consistent thoughts and bringing about positive and permanent change in your life.

Another great way to instantly improve the quality of your energy is to write a gratitude list. This should include things that you’re appreciative of in your life i.e. your health, your family, your character, past triumphs, accomplishments and successes.

When you have completed your gratitude list, carry it around in your pocket and pull it out from time to time and read it to yourself. Doing this will instantly lift your mood making it difficult for you to generate low quality negative thoughts.
